The Final Month

This week marks the start of the final month of regular season play and the return of the commissioner's weekly commentary. Due in no part to his team's sudden downturn in the standings, these notes have not come at you for some time. That was merely a coincidence. So, for better or for worse, get ready for this drivel to show up in your email box again. Since we last left the commentary, a major turnaround has been seen in the standings. Long-time leader AmIGone has been moved into second place behind Thunder Bay, trailing by 20 points. 3rd place trails by another 20 points while 3 through 7 are separated by less than 8 points. Mighty Taco, Wicked Pissahs, chiefs, and Windy City Matrix are all sitting below the coveted 6th position (for entrance into the championship playoff), none of them are yet eliminated from contention.

This week sees the final match-up between Mighty Taco and AmIGone, allowing them to break the tie of 1 game a piece. Wicked Pissahs will take on their perennial punching bag Windy City Matrix to try and sweep the series, while DaZ will try to tie up the series with the Bombers. The chiefs will try one last time to best Thunder Bay, hoping that recent changes to their lineup will make the difference. Finally, Nocturne's Killers and Ice Kinkajous will try to settle their match-up also tied at 1 each. Who is ready for the playoffs and who is ready to just sign off? Find out...
